Bernadette Syversen

New Talent Hairstylist/Assistant

Bernadette discovered her passion for the beauty industry in college. By her senior year, she became known as the school hairdresser and could be found cutting hair for friends and classmates at random hours of the day or night. Fascinated by the profound impact appearance could have on self confidence and performance, she wrote her undergraduate thesis on the philosophical relationship between identity and appearance. While attending cosmetology school at Hair on Hudson Academy in Poughkeepsie, Bernadette also earned her certification as a personal stylist through the New York Institute of Art and Design. Bernadette enjoys bringing imagination and creativity to her craft. When she is not at the salon, Bernadette is an organist, pianist, and singer and enjoys beauty in all of its different forms.
