With over 30 years experience, Marion opened Marion SalonSpa in September of 1999 after having one of the very few Aveda Concept home salons for 12 years. Her drive to be an Aveda salon started when being introduced to Horst Rechelbacher in 1985 when he demonstrated the exceptional performance of the Aveda product line; while also enlightening her on the healing benefits of aromatherapy. Early on, her passion has always been to offer forefront services fueled by knowledge. She consistently participates in advanced education, attending the first Covenant Gardens five-day intensive hair color and cutting seminar at the London Aveda Institute. She attended Aveda Master Jams, including Milan, Italy’s Jam participating in their Men’s Advanced Haircutting class. She continues to attend the New York Aveda Advanced Acadamy. She is a business member of The Professional Business Association, where her hope is to help contribute to the future of the beauty profession. Marion has a passion to serve her staff and community in a culture of love. She loves promoting her artistic work by designing photo shoots with staff and community members for local magazines and billboards throughout the Hudson Valley. Besides her husband, their three daughters and grandchildren, her dog Cooper is the love of her life.
